Communion for the Homebound We at St. Bede realize that there are times due to age or health problems that prevent us from coming to church to receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. With that in mind, one of the ministries here at St. Bede is the Ministers of Care. The Ministers of Care are sanctioned and commissioned by the Archdiocese to administer the Body of Jesus Christ to the homebound, nursing homes and hospitals. These ministers not only administer the Body of Christ but bring a lending ear and compassionate heart with them. Should you or anyone in your family wish to have a Minister of Care bring the Eucharist to a homebound individual, please contact the rectory, (847) 587-2251, and give your name, the name of the person you wish to have the Eucharist administered to, your phone number and a Minister of Care will contact you to set up a time. |
